A Story is Coming

Ten years ago, at this time of the year, my birthday time, spring break time, we went to Minneapolis to see Jim's sister.  I thought I had a sinus infection, my nose was stuffed up. I've had sinus infections over the years, gone to the the doctor, got antibiotics and healed up.  This time I decided I was just going to wear it out and not get antibiotics. So, I didn't. I had already been stuffed for a few weeks. I had a healthy immune system; I could beat this. So, we went on the trip in spite of the fact that breathing through my nose
wasn't happening.
At home, we decided I couldn't wait any longer, got the antibiotic. Two weeks go by, no improvement, go to an ENT, more antibiotics, but after a week, Jim said, "no more," and we went back and a CT scan revealed a mass in my sinus area.
And that's how the story begins.

In 2022 it is 10 years since I was diagnosed with cancer.  Over the next year, I intend to put that story on this blog.

When I started this journey, my eyes were gray. When chemo was over they were the bright blue I always wished I had. That happens sometimes.  And it happened to me.
